Zindagi k lamhon ki qeematain nhi milti,
Fatah ki khuwahish me amaal b to lazim hain
Sirf kuch iraadon se manzilain nhi milti,
Faislay ye chahat k aasmano pe hotay hain
Do dilon k milnay se qismatain nhi milti,
Deen aur Duniya ko sath rakhna parta hai
Masjidon me rehnay se jannatain nhi milti,
Maan lo is zamanay me or b hain mujh jaisay
Hasb-e-aarzoo jinhay chahatain nhi milti.
